Hi, I’m Lourdes — the owner of Purrfect Thrift in Hudson, NH. Just minutes from Nashua, our store offers affordable secondhand clothing, home décor, and everyday treasures — all connected to something bigger than resale.

While I am the legal owner of the business, Purrfect Thrift is very much a family effort. My husband Joe and our adult children have supported this journey every step of the way, helping turn a long-time side business into a welcoming brick-and-mortar store.

What began nearly 20 years ago as a small weekend eBay hobby steadily grew over time. Thrifting has always been part of our life, but eventually it became something more intentional.

🐾 Lilly’s Story

Lilly, our Maine Coon mix, is the heart behind Purrfect Thrift. One day she wandered into our bedroom and decided she was staying. Sweet, curious, and confidently in charge, she quickly became family.

In June 2022, Lilly slipped outside unnoticed. For five long weeks, we searched with the help of our community. When we finally found her — thin but alive — it changed how we saw the world around us. We became more aware of displaced and feral animals in our own neighborhoods and how fragile their survival can be.

Lilly is now our logo, our reminder, and the reason this store exists.

💛 More Than a Thrift Store

Purrfect Thrift opened in November 2024 with a simple goal: build a welcoming, organized thrift store that also creates space to help animals when and where we can.

With the support of our customers, we:

• Provide pet food assistance to local families

• Support animal-related causes throughout the year

• Host community fundraisers and events

• Offer special items where proceeds contribute toward animal care

• Care for local outdoor cats, including our porch regular, Snickers

We believe a small, locally owned business can make a meaningful difference — not loudly, but consistently.

We also offer a customer loyalty program where every $10 spent earns a paw stamp toward rewards. It’s our way of saying thank you for supporting both secondhand shopping and something with heart.
