Learn more about who we are and what drives our mission.

What is Purrfect Thrift?

Purrfect Thrift is a locally owned thrift store in Hudson, NH offering affordable, quality secondhand clothing, home décor, small furniture, household goods, books, pet supplies, and more.

We’re a for-profit business built on the belief that sustainability and compassion can go hand in hand. By giving gently used items a second life, we’re able to serve our community while supporting pets in need through donations, supply drives, and special fundraising efforts.

Every purchase supports a business built around giving back.

Through our community outreach efforts, we’re able to provide pet food support, assist with basic pet care needs, and help where we can within our local community.

Shopping secondhand also supports sustainability, which benefits the community as a whole.

As a for-profit small business, our first priority is maintaining financial stability so we can continue serving our community long term.

That said, we regularly give back through pet food support, supplies, and community outreach efforts funded through our store and events.

Our goal is to grow what we’re able to give over time in a way that remains sustainable.

Purrfect Thrift is located at 30 Lowell Rd, Hudson, NH 03051. We’re conveniently located on Route 3A and serve shoppers and donors from Hudson, Nashua, Litchfield, Pelham, and surrounding communities.

What items do you not accept?

Purrfect Thrift is known for offering clean, quality secondhand items at affordable prices. To help maintain that standard, we ask that donated items be clean, safe, and ready for the sales floor.

We cannot accept items that are heavily damaged, broken, chipped, excessively dirty, moldy, or unsafe. We also ask that clothing be free of strong smoke odors and excessive pet hair. Due to space limitations, we do not accept large furniture.

For safety reasons, we cannot accept hazardous or flammable items, including gasoline, oil, propane tanks, fuels, chemicals, fireworks, or other combustible materials. We also do not accept lamps that contain oil or fuel.

As a general guideline, if an item is clean, in good working order, and ready to be sold immediately, we’d love to take a look. Many first-time visitors are surprised by the quality of items in our store, and maintaining that standard starts with thoughtful donations from our community.

No appointment is needed during regular store hours — just stop by.

On Mondays and Tuesdays, the store is closed for shopping but open for scheduled donation drop-offs by appointment. This helps us restock, organize, and prepare the store for the week.
